In darts, tungsten alloy is a key material widely used to manufacture the dart’s critical component—the barrel. The tungsten alloy dart barrel is made from high-density tungsten alloy (tungsten alloy dart shaft) through precision machining. It serves as the dart’s main body, providing primary weight and grip, accounting for 70%–80% of the dart’s total weight. Barrels are usually shaped as straight, barrel, torpedo, barrel, or polygonal. Tungsten Alloy Dart Blanks are unprocessed dart barrels with smooth surfaces. Through machining, they achieve different weights based on tungsten content and blank dimensions. CTIA GROUP LTD offers various types of tungsten dart blanks, including tungsten-nickel-iron alloy dart blanks, tungsten-nickel-copper alloy dart blanks, and tungsten-nickel-copper-iron alloy dart blanks. We can also manufacture darts according to customers’ specific designs.

2BA Thread Standard in Darts
The 2BA thread is a British standard imperial thread specification and the most commonly used thread in darts. Soft-tip darts also widely adopt this standard. Brass darts typically use 1/4-inch threads, which differ significantly in size from 2BA and are not interchangeable. Therefore, when purchasing tungsten darts, standard tungsten barrels or convertible soft-tip darts are usually equipped with 2BA threads, eliminating compatibility concerns with common dart accessories.
